Safety first! In collaboration with Wortel Product Design, the “Crossing aid” was realised. With this display, crossing the railway becomes safer for the weak road user, but especially for the elderly and disabled. The contribution consisted of producing and supplying LED printing (with a pitch of 4.28 mm) that together led to a beautiful end product. Wortel Product Design took care of the design.
When the screen shows a white train, the barriers will go down within a short time and passers-by will have to wait before crossing. This display makes crossing a railway line safer for vulnerable road users, but especially for the elderly and disabled.
